Parental engagement is vital for childminder to maintain a healthy, positive two-way relationship to benefit the wellbeing of your minded children.
SCMA is aware of a Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) event hosted by Edinburgh University that childminders may find interesting: ‘Parental Engagement...In Conversation With Janet Goodall’.
This active learning CPL opportunity will take place on Friday 16 March at the Moray House School of Education in Edinburgh. Janet Goodall – a researcher and teacher from the University of Bath – will be discussing parental involvement with various group leaders focusing on engagement.
The event will begin with Janet speaking about her work on parental engagement, followed by group sessions to bring together individuals from across sectors to discuss, share, and explore the topic of parental engagement.
