Reflective Practice

The aim of this course is to help you understand why reflective practice is critical, what it means to be a Reflective Practitioner, and how to undertake reflective writing. It will show you how to use reflection to inform quality and self-improvement in your setting. The course covers what reflective practice is, what the process of reflective practice and how to demonstrate reflection in your practice and in writing.

This course is fully funded by Scottish Government with CPL made available to all childminders as part of the important childminder retention strand of the PSCF.

Our Learn with SCMA team can arrange any SCMA course to come to you - wherever you are in Scotland.  

Provided you know at least six SCMA members interested in a particular course, we can provide the training.  We can arrange for any of our Continuing Professional Learning courses to be organised for groups of 6-20 SCMA members at a date, time and place to suit you and your group.
