The Scottish Antimicrobial Prescribing Group (SAPG) has produced a poster and leaflet promoting the appropriate use of antibiotics.
With bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics, SAPG promotes keeping antibiotics for serious infections. The leaflet explains the need to get the right treatment for common illnesses such as colds and coughs without encouraging antibiotic resistance whilst highlighting that if you are worried at all talk to your pharmacist or doctor.
