Lines are open Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm.
SCMA members can also access tailored one-to-one support from our Childminding and Membership Support Officers or local Childminding Development Officer (where applicable). Our team is here to listen and support and guide you on a wide range of issues or concerns that may seem overwhelming on your own. These can often be easily resolved with a quick chat or email exchange.

Legal Advice Line
SCMA members have FREE access to a 24/7 Business Legal Advice provided by ARAG. Staffed by qualified solicitors, the team can provide practical telephone-based legal advice relating to contractual disputes with parents and money owed to you. The service can be accessed as many times as you need.

Wellbeing and Counselling Service
SCMA members can access a free and confidential telephone counselling to support personal and emotional wellbeing provided by ARAG.
The free helpline is available 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Additional Helplines and Services
SCMA members have access to a range of additional helplines and services, including: a 24/7 Crisis Communication Advice Service, to help protect your business reputation following adverse publicity, a Tax Advice Helpline, with specialists to assist with UK & EU business tax matters (available 9am-5pm weekdays only), and Redundancy Assistance, a consultancy assistance service (available 9am-5pm weekdays only).
