Updating and completing this year’s Care Inspectorate Annual Return is easy, essential and extremely important for the future of childminding in Scotland.
Your annual return tells the Care Inspectorate about your service and gives a useful insight into the overall state of childminding in Scotland. SCMA work in partnership with the Care Inspectorate and use the information to lobby on behalf of childminders when it comes to policy and regulations.
It is essential that all childminders (including inactive services) update and complete their annual return online at
eforms.careinspectorate.com before 16 February 2018.
Tick your annual return off your to-do list today - it’s really quick and easy!
The information you entered last year will automatically be available when you login to eForms, so all you need to do is update the relevant details for the current year. And next year, the same will apply and you’ll only need to enter the information that has changed.
Remember - even if your service is inactive, you must submit an annual return.
You can log in to your Care Inspectorate eForms account from any computer connected to the internet. If you don’t have a computer at home, local libraries and resource centres usually have them. If you have no way to access the internet, call the eForms helpdesk on 0345 600 9527.
